Well, I only got fifty percent done for Nanowrimo, but I am pleased with what I did write. I plan to finish my rough draft by the end of December. If I had to do it again, I would have written something from scratch. Instead I used a project that I have been working on for a while. It proved to be a little too complex for a 50,000 words draft. The good news is that I am motivated to finish it.
So far the story has two main characters and a few minor ones. The chapter that I am finishing this weekend will introduce some new characters. Actually I forgot that I introduced another major player in my story in the previous chapter. The scenes I will write over the next few days will be a turning point for all the characters.
A typical novel has between 80,000-100,000 words. I am not sure how long my rough draft will be, I have a feeling it will be closer to 100,000.

I am glad you are motivated to finish it! Keep working on it, I know you will feel really great when you finish the rough draft! Maybe, through your blog you will inspire other writers as well!
